How Do I View Alternate Exercises?

Some exercises in PJF programs include alternate options. If an alternative is available, you can swap it directly inside the app.

Follow the steps below.


Step 1: Open the Exercise

Tap the exercise in your workout that you want to replace.


Step 2: Tap “View Alternate Exercises”

If the exercise has an alternative available, you will see a section labeled View Alternate Exercises.

Tap this option to expand the alternatives.

If you do not see this section, that exercise does not currently have an alternate assigned.


Step 3: Select the New Exercise

When the alternate exercises appear, you will see a swap icon on the right side.

Tap this icon to replace the original exercise with the new one.


Step 4: Confirm Replacement

The new exercise will now appear in your workout plan in place of the original movement.

You can complete and log it like any other exercise.


Important Notes

  • Not every exercise includes an alternate option.

  • Replacing an exercise does not delete your completed workout history.

  • If you accidentally swap exercises, you can repeat the process to switch back (if the original option is still available).
